This is a collaboration with my 16 year old daughter, Isabella.

Bella came up with a pretty unusual chord sequence and the song grew from there.... It's written from the prospective of a person who is very happy with the love of their life, but all is not as it seems..... The way the chords fall during the verse tells us something is up but the lyrics don't spill the beans till the harsh reality of the chorus :)

The tech bit:-
All recorded in Presonus Studio One 3 through a Focusrite Sapphire. Vocal mic was a Shure SM7b. Guitars were a PRS Stripped '58, a Yamaha bass and a PRS Baritone through a Kemper. Virtual instruments were EZ Drummer 2, NI Absynth and NI Kore 2. Creative effects came from Soundtoys (Tremollator, Phase Mistress and Echoboy) and Slate (Verbsuite classics). Mixing was done (lazily) using Neutron 2 and Ozone. In automatic mode as I have no idea what I'm doing. Please don't judge me too harshly for that :)
