It might just be me but the World seems crazier than ever right now.

This is the third song of my 'Song per Month of 2018' personal challenge. There's an intentionally slow build up with new instruments coming in before it strips right back to the vocal so please stick with it :) I was going for a Sigur Ros / Mogwai style build up / fall away again. Not reached their brilliance but I'm pleased with it.

Just about sneaked in on the deadline - this one wasn't easy! It's Bella on the lead vocals (and BV's), me coming in of vocals on the chorus and BV's. Drums are programmed from EZ Drummer, everything else is me playing eleventy billion guitars plus attempting to play keys.

The tech bit:-
Guitars were a PRS 277 Baritone, a PRS Stripped '58 and a Tokai Goldtop through various Kemper profiles. On a couple of the tracks, I sent the signal through a home-made Fuzz Pedal and Dallas Rangemaster treble booster.
Bass is my old Yamaha. Vocals recorded with a Shure SM7b into a Focusrite Sapphire. Drums were EZ Drummer 'Post Rock'. Plugins used were Soundtoys Echoboy, Filter Freq and Phase Mistress alongside Neutron 2 and Ozone 2. Reverb was the Slate. Keys were Presonus MaiTai patch for the tinkly bits and then a FM8 Mellotron (NI) with Soundtoys filters.
