I wrote this song a few months ago and have been tinkering with it ever since - it didn't start out sounding anything like this final version at all (it was a lot thrashier, then went almost in an EDM direction!) but I suppose that, as the song is about 'wondering what will happen with life and the special people in it', it makes sense that the music didn't turn out exactly as I expected...... Sometimes, life's surprises are the best bits and the joy is in watching it unfold in ways that aren't quite what you pictured at the start.

Tech details:-
Recorded in Presonus Studio One with a Focusrite Clarrett 4Pre interface.
Lyrics recorded through a Shure SM7b
Guitar was a PRS Vela. I used all positions of the guitar through a Kemper profiler pretending to be a Kingsley Deluxe 30 (profile by Selah Sounds). Delays and reverbs for the guitars were from the Kemper
Overall reverb was from the Slate Verbsuite classics set
Drums were the George Massenberg Premier kit from the SD 3 core library
Bass was me cheating as I *still* suck at bass. So it was programmed in Kontact
Tambourines and claps were from 'Shimmer, Shake, Strike' within Kontact
Virtual console was CTC-1 within Studio One
Virtual tape was the Softube plugin within Studio One
All mixing / mastering polish was done through Izotope Neutron / Nectar and Ozone.
